Es ist eine große Verantwortung einen Hotelraum zu gestalten. Schließlich wird jemand eine Zeit darin wohnen und die Atmosphäre atmen. Das ist etwas anderes als eine Ausstellung zu besuchen. Unsere Idee war es moderne mythische Kreaturen zu erschaffen, die wie Fabeln ein anderes Abbild der Wirklichkeit darstellen. Jede Illustration auf den Wänden erzählt eine eigene Geschichte und der Betrachter kann die Fragmente zu seiner persönlichen Novelle zusammenfügen.

When we were first approached about designing the hotel rooms our initial thoughts were: Someone is going to live in this room for a while, they are going to breathe the atmosphere more intensely than someone just visiting like at an exhibition.
The idea was to create modern mythical creatures that function like fables or tales that give a polemic viewpoint to everyday lives. Each illustration tells its own story to the viewer. It is the visitor that brings the different fragments together and builds his own story from them.
