Für die deutsch-russische Band ELEKTROSTAR entwarfen wir eine, an die russische Avantgarde angelehnte, Welt, in der Illustration kombiniert mit Photography die visuelle Sprache formen. Eine vom HORT geleitete, von Gaby Gerster umgesetzte, Photosession wurde als Ausgangsmaterial für die Bildsprache benutzt. Dabei war es wichtig die Szenen theatralisch auszuleuchten und eine starke mimische Ausdrucksform zu erhalten.
Jeder Musiker bekam seinen eigenen illustrativen Raum um dessen charakteristische Individualität hervorzuheben. Den emotional beladenen Illustrationen gegenüber stand eine sehr laute Symbolsprache und Typographierung.

For the Russian-German Band, Elektrostar, we developed a world based on the Russian Avant-Garde. A combination of illustration and photography (lead by Hort, rendered by Gaby Gerster), formed the visual language. In order to mimic the Russian Avant-Garde style we illuminated the scenes in a theatrical manner and ensured that strong, facial expression were always preserved amongst the band members.
Each musician was given there own theatrical illustrative stage in order to bring out each band members distinctive individuality. Placed opposite the emotionally laden illustrations was a loud language of symbols and typographical arrangements.
